Senior Portrait Guidelines and Specifications

2018- 2019
Keramos Yearbook
Kim Daugherty
East Liverpool Jr-Sr High School
East Liverpool, Ohio
In order for a senior’s picture to appear in the yearbook, the senior must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Digital senior formal color portraits must be submitted to the yearbook adviser by January 25, 2019. If possible, have your Photographer submit your picture via email (kdaugherty@elcsd.k12.oh.us). The picture must have a resolution of 300 dpi. Any picture received after this date cannot be guaranteed placement in the yearbook.
2. Senior pictures must be formal poses.
3. Students should be seated in an upright position. HEAD AND SHOULDER SHOTS ONLY. This means no hands in the picture.
4. Keramos Yearbook DOES NOT accept pictures with hats, hands, bare shoulders, cleavage, drapes, tattoos, body piercing, animals, or outdoor shots. A t-shirt is not acceptable attire. If you would be sent home from school if you wore the clothing, it is NOT appropriate for your senior yearbook photo.
5. Casual poses do not meet with the dignity and formality that is traditional in our senior section. In order to have a formal, consistent senior section, a plain background is required.
6. We WILL NOT accept pictures with students’ names or any studio names in the corner. We cannot accept photos that have been scanned as the quality will not reproduce in the yearbook.
Any portrait not meeting the yearbook specifications will not be used. If there is any doubt about the appropriateness of a photo, approval should be obtained from the yearbook adviser, Ms. Daugherty. Final approval of any questionable pictures received will be made by the high school administration.
Please get your pictures in by the deadline. Pictures not received by the deadline cannot be guaranteed placement. Senior specifications are also located on the Jr-Sr High homepage under the Junior/Senior High News section.
